FIETSEN: (Dutch) [v] ride a bicycle; cycle, [n] bicycles
For an hour each day between 21 September and 25 September 2005, Laura Domela photographed bicycle commuters from an apartment in Marnixstrat, Amsterdam. In four and a half days she photographed more than 1600 people and their bicycles. 118 made it into her book.
